I wanted a mascot! So I commissioned a young and talented 3D modeller in a far off land to create a lizard for me. I 3D printed it on my Elegoo Saturn and then decided it needed something more. Why of course! He needed 6 legs! So I printed a second one and sectioned them both, added in a third set of legs. But he needed something else… I added some horns with some modelling clay to make him more of a baby dragon. I wanted to try my hand at creating a oxidized copper look so I based it in a dark metallic paint then with a few different blues and teals heavily thinned I layered it on. I think the effect is pretty realistic. Now I have a mascot! He lives on my car, BeetleJuice.
