Picked  up a used and badly abused e-bike. Definitely in rough shape but I could see the potential in it. Brakes were shot, battery was badly out of balance, wiring was all messed up. I have things working nice and smooooth now. Of course I had to give it the Six Design touch. Man this thing is a lot of fun to cruze on….My new fair weather commuter! 🚲⚡️

I stared at it numerous times over the winter and decided I didn’t like the way the battery box looked, overall there was too much leather on the bike. So battery box got a remake Ala Six Design!

Stripping off the leather I found a plastic molded box underneath but no way to hold them together as that was done with a zipper on the original. I had to add some styrene lips inside and out for the main box and the lid so they fit together nicely and would stay that way held together with a few screws for easy access. Once that was accomplished it was on to riveting, painting and weathering! Decided to keep the copper theme going except this needed to look heavily corroded. And I added the 6 legged dragon lizard logo as well. Turned out great!
